AIRPORT: Reno-Tahoe International Airport is less than 2 miles from the Grand Sierra Resort. There is a shuttle available. The Shuttle leaves from the exit located at the far end of baggage claim every 15 and 45 minutes past the hour daily between 5:15 am and 11:45 pm. To drive from the airport to the resort, Start out going WEST on E. Plumb Lane toward Terminal Way. Merge onto US-395 North toward Susanville. Take exit 67 toward Glendale Avenue. Turn LEFT onto E 2nd Street. Turn RIGHT into the Grand Sierra Resort. Pull straight ahead to the valet or park to the right.

SHOW HALL/SHOW HOTEL: The show hall/hotel is at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino at 2500 E. Second Street in Reno. Please make your room reservations prior to September 28th. You can contact the hotel at 775-789-2000. The negotiated rate is $99 per night plus taxes. There is no pet fee and you can upgrade to the Summit for $120 per night plus taxes. The Silver Cats has elected to use the Hotel Room Inspection Procedures for exhibitors who lodge at The Grand Sierra Resort using the club's group booking. Entry in this show, and lodging at The Grand Sierra Resort using the club's group booking, shall constitute an acknowledgment by and consent of the exhibitor to these procedures. The show will be held downstairs in the Silver State Pavillion. There will be signs to direct you.

SHOW HOURS/CHECK IN: Friday - Check in at 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Show hours 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Saturday - Check in at 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM, Show Hours 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday - Check in at 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM, Show hours 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Late arrivals must check in with the Master Clerk and each ring clerk to ensure their entries are marked present. No cat may leave the show hall until 4:00 PM unless permission is obtained from the show managers. No cats may remain in the show hall overnight.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: This is a non-vetted show. Cats/kittens must be immunized against rhinotracheitis-panleukopenia-calicivirus, at least 21 days prior to the show. All kittens must be 3 calendar months old to enter the show hall. All cats/kittens must be free of fungus, fleas, and ear mites, Fel-V negative, and not show any signs of illness. All cats/kittens should be bathed and clean. Please clip claws on all four feet. Declawed cats MAY be shown in TICA.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: An official entry form or facsimile must be used for each entry and a completed summary sheet and full payment (U.S. funds only) must accompany these entries. E-mail entries will be accepted, but will not be officially entered until full payment is received. You may e-mail your entry to catgig@earthlink.net or enter online via PDF Submittal at www.RenoSilverCats.org. If payment is not received within 10 days of e-mail entry, entry will become null and void. The only exception to this will be for our overseas exhibitors - payment will be expected upon check in in U.S. funds. Show management reserves the right to make any changes to the slate of judges.

FOR SALE CATS/KITTENS: Only exhibitors entered in this show may purchase FOR SALE cages and sell cats/kittens. All kittens for sale must be 3 calendar months of age. All for sale cats/kittens must have shots, and be Fel-V negative. Only one cat or two kittens in a sales cage. No kittens or cats may be confined to carriers during the show.

PEOPLE FOOD: People food is available at the several restaurants which are located in the Resort and close by.

SUPPLIES: Litter will be provided at the show hall upon check in. Bring your own litter pans, food & water dishes. Cage curtains are required - cages being used are 22"h x 22"d x 45"w for a double cage. Sides, top and back of cages must be covered. Each entry is provided one single (half) cage. If you are bringing your own double cage, you will have to purchase the extra half cage. Please bring plastic liners for male cats. Half Cage is equal to 22” x 22” x 22”.

SHOW RULES: By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by all TICA show rules, and the decisions of the judges and the Show Committee. Show rules are available from TICA, PO Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551. Ribbons & rosettes will be awarded in accordance with TICA rules to the top ten kittens, cats, alters, household pets & household pet kittens.

EXHIBITOR BEHAVIOR: Please clean up after spraying cats (including cage curtains) and show respect for your neighbors and fellow
exhibitors! Please display good sportsmanship at all times and follow exhibitor code of conduct.

CLERKS: Please indicate on the summary sheet if you are interested in clerking for the show. Clerks will receive $30/day, lunch and a fully marked catalog. Please do not deduct these from your entry fees; you will be paid at the end of the show. Preference will be given to TICA certified clerks. It would be advisable to have your cat(s) agented.

STEWARDS: Do you know a child/adult who would like to steward? Stewards will be paid $15.00 and lunch each day. Please indicate this on your entry form.

NEW EXHIBITORS: We welcome you to the Annual Silver Cats TICA Show! Please indicate on the Summary Sheet that this is your first show. ENTRY FEES: All fees must be paid in US funds, no post dated checks please. Make checks payable to Silver Cats. Fees must be paid in advance and are not refundable, even if entry is absent. Cats will not be benched unless all fees have been paid. Substitutions are $10.00 per entry surcharge. Returned checks will be charged a $25.00 handling fee.

PHOTOGRAPHER: Starrlight Photography will be our show photographer.

GROOMING SPACE: Groom spaces are 44 inches. Please make reservations with the Entry Clerk.
